For most adults, an annual full-body skin check is recommended. If you have a personal or family history of skin cancer, a higher number of moles, or significant sun damage, more frequent checks may be advised, and your care plan at JBH Aesthetics will include a recommended review schedule.
A skin cancer check at JBH Aesthetics is a full-body examination conducted by Dr Miriam, who has specific training in skin cancer detection. The check includes dermoscopy to closely examine pigmented lesions, and a spot check option if you only need a specific area assessed. If a lesion needs further investigation, biopsies are performed on-site.
