What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a fractional RF microneedling treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodelled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance.
Radio frequency (RF) energy is a scientifically proven method to remodel and rebuild collagen. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew the deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime.
Morpheus8 is indicated for treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, pore size reduction, overall skin concerns, face and body remodelling in areas such as the abdomen, thighs, flanks and buttocks.
With a unique large surface tip consisting of a matrix of 40 thin gold-coated microneedles, and a thermal profile of 7mm with an additional heat profile of 1mm, Morpheus 8 Body can be programmed to quickly treat large tissue surface areas at the deepest levels of RF energy available.
What areas can be treated?
Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital area, abdomen, thighs, legs and buttocks. See below for before and after Morpheus8 results.
Is Morpheus8 right for me?
This deep fractional RF microneedling treatment is a minimally invasive skin and tissue remodelling technology for face and body contouring through fat remodelling. It is suitable for all skin types and is low-risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is common with other resurfacing methods.
Treatment times and frequency will be specifically tailored to obtain the optimal results. Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to six months after treatment.
Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session or a few days after other treatments. Post treatment, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after and patients should moisturise the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing the risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also slow the ageing process.
